Families Matter is creating opportunities for these men through a variety of workshops and programs that provide them with the support and the tools to become effective parents and positive role models in their children's lives.

This helps to break the cycles of economic insecurity, poverty and abuse in families and provides children with a richer environment in which to learn and succeed.

Dads gain confidence in their ability to support their children's development through effective parenting strategies. They also become more aware of and can connect with community resources to assist them as needed.

Building strong relationships between a father and his children dramatically increases the chances of future success for these kids.
